88GTS needs new springs - choices?

Just discovered my 20-yr old springs are sagging - go figure! Well, at least one of the fronts is sagging, but I can actually compress all a bit w/ just hand pressure, so think it's time for four new ones.

I don't think I want the 1.75" drop of Intrax (may be too much w/ my Aeroform kit and country road commute) or go the full coil over/fully adjustable route of Koni or Sprint. Tire Rack has Eibach Pro for $190. Drop is 1.0" all around.

Any other options or an opinion on Eibach? Thanks.

just a warning, i think if you drop it you gonna mess up the camber so you will need an allignment. but just makesure you tires will still fit with the drop and go for it

if you take your suspension apart, you'll need an alignment. unless you put it back together perfectly. which you won't. it shouldn't cost much though.

Usually you can look at it funny and you need an alignment.

Eibach is a very nice spring. I know alot of guys on the 3Si.org boards that used to run them all the time. I'd buy them, but I prefer the much lower look of the Intrax.

Yeah, I like slammed look too, but my back road commute is not lowrider friendly and w/ the Areoform kit, I think 1" is about all I want to risk. Alignment a given. Thanks for all the input, guys.

I have the Eibach proline and kyb stuts. The ride is nice and tight. Also I would recommend replacing the suspension suports at least on the front and spring seats. The front suspension supports have a bearing in them.

Thanks. I almost ordered new bearing plates, but didn't. I've been 2nd guessing myself since I'm going to all the trouble of taking everything apart. I will order the bearing plates, too. Spring seats are new when I put on the GR2's last year, so that should leave me in pretty good shape. Thanks for the good suggestion.
