this guys high. you cant even blue book something that old. even if it were a 92 in excellent cond. it would be $3600 (w/ 151k). it looks nice, but really? http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2944721676.html
'BLUE BOOK' or value of that is about $3500/$5100/$6800 for low/average/high retail pricing. I think the $8k asking is just to scare people away.
-if you use NADA. kelly blue book shows 3600 as the highest for 92 (again w/151k). nada doesnt even include the mileage or give "options" options. -meh, i guess its up to the purchaser really, but as much as i like those you'd really have to be a knob to pay that for it. iirc one on alltrac w/ 56k went for far less than that. -edit: i actually just had to wiki both NADA and KBB. It would seem Kelley is the "blue book".
Thats why I put it in quotes. I don't like KBB. I like NADA much better. They give a more realistic value on the vehicle. I was able to price out our Mazda, went into the dealership and said I wanted $xxxx for it on trade. They said OK (I was like $300 below the price it gets @ auction). Then they sold the SUV I wanted, so fuck them
Like he says he's putting out feelers What gets me is a WRX or Evo of the same era will sell for 2X that.... and people queue to buy them. Check out the prices on Delta Integrales and make sure you're sitting down 1st. So to someone with cash wanting a 100% car - it's still a steal All JDM's were fitted with leather/cloth combo seats - either black or grey, I've never seen one with cloth interior and I beieve the IMSA replica also had a cloth interior
On the other hand considering hes been replacing everything with OEM he probably has a small fortune in replacement parts. Still, Id pay maybe 6k for it...dunno. Hard to say without really getting a good look at it.
