Arighty...I was inspecting my rear shoes today and noticed that one of the wheel cylinders was starting to leak.
SO I took this at a hint and went down to the local yard..
after walking thru the rows, I saw a FX-16 and since I heard about a fellow member converting his, I thought its my turn..
I take everything off and then bring it to a st celica with rear drum...
As I go to put on the "hub" the thing with the bearing in it...It dosent fit ..It seems that the diameter of the rear of the hub is smaller and would take a few mm of enlarging the circle to make it fit.....
and right now Im debating if I should go back, buy it and bring it to my dads cnc shop??
BUT then I thought what about the ebrake? the FX uses cables which I think our too short to use on the celi....
Im really wondering if this is possibly? well time to go see redline to go clear my mine......PEACE[/i]

i haven't gotten a chance to get to looking into it.
what you are doing doesn't sound right. you should be using GTS struts, fx16 spindles and GTS ebrake cables i believe.

    you need this stuff :
    Back plate w/ebrake cable
    Hub
    Rotors
    caliper bracket
    caliper
    brake pads

This ebrake shoe setup is smaller than your shoe setup on your drum rear. So if you try to use the FX16 rotor on the back plate with the drum shoes on it, the rotor wont fit its to small. So you have to have the FX16 back plate with its ebrake shoe setup because its smaller thatn stock drum setup.
