Just throwing it out there, which 3sgte would be suited for an 162, 88, st ? I.e for ease of swap, costing, reliability etc .. Just a daily low power turbo - done right tho.. thoughts, opinions?
if it hasn't got the 3S-xx engine allready it's a lot of work, go for the gen4. Keep it stock. Much power, high reliability. You could also think about a beams red top for reliability, 200 hp without turbo(issues).
Fast, cheap, reliable - pick any two If the budget will stretch, your conversion will be a lot easier if you buy a front cut (or hell, a complete car, ST185s are pretty cheap these days), then you know you're getting everything you need to make the thing run.
