Most people that use the honda ECU have boosted engines and use the Honda computer because it's easily flashable. You'd have to do an astromical amount of wiring and splicing to make it work though. It'd be easier to source a 3sge ECU for the car.

    Need a 3SGE ECU?

I have a 3SGE ECU from an '89 GTS. $50 plus shipping. Probably like $5-10 for shipping.

you'll have no way to run t-vis with the honda ecu. you'll be stuck with 30 less hp than stock lol. just buy the ecu on the above post.

Correct on this. You have to make a custom jumper harness if you dont want to cut into your harness, but i would hardly call that astronomical. You also have to change out dizzy plugs, but if you can depin, its fairly easy.

A P28 ecu will control it. You just have to wire the tvis vsv to the vtec control. Both systems use similar engine signals to activate (throttle position, knock if equipped on the Honda ecu. And 30 hp less. I think cold weather drivability, fuel mileage, and no afm outweighs that. And you might even gain some power with tuning.

The part i am having most trouble with its getting my distributor machined and a key made to fit the 3sgte Cam.
