i have a real problem with surging when going from a dead stop to rolling. i will push the clutch in, put the shifter into 1st, slowly apply gas and let up on the clutch pedal - the engine will surge/buck - feels like i am trying to launch. if i do clutch only (no gas), it will move forward without issue. i have checked the ignition timing, TPS and set the idle to be at just over 1000rpm (not quite 1100rpm). i did also try with the idle low (700rpm) and it did the same. i do have the throttle cable with a minimum of slack (2mm of flex before throttle body movement). i can easily put more slack into it. just curious if anyone else has had this issue or not. per the mechanics of it... 3sge (Gen 1 - mostly stock), stock ECU, stock flywheel and Clutch Masters Stage 1 clutch kit. braided steel clutch line, fully bled - no air bubbles. thanks!
