My celica has a pretty bad power steering leak and I've noticed around at the wreckers that many of the st162's are 3SFE, and also the SV21 Camrys. Just wondering if the power steering pump? the rack? and the hoses and whatnot are interchangable
As far as I can tell, most all the Celica parts of the steering system are interchangeable. In about half the cases I've seen it's the high pressure hose thats leaking, not the pump or rack. Check your hose before looking for other problems. racerb
You sure about that? Gravity is a bitch to deal with. If your pressure hose is leaking, it'll run down to the pump and make it look like the pump is leaking.
