Hi can anyone assist with info on mounting a sc12 to my 3rd gen 3sge ?can i run low boost with my N/A factory computer without timing & air / fuel ratios ect ? also can the 3sge handle low boost at factory comperssion ratio or will i need to use a thicker head gasket? Thanks muchly for any info & if anyone needs full workshop book for the 3rd gen 3sge i have pdf files of it
what is low boost to you? a head gasket will make very little difference stock 3rd gen...just before the red top? or a red top (there is one in the middle, iirc) without adding anything you'll have issues. sillyca has gone further on a stock ecu than anyone i know. perhaps ask him?
low boost Hi thanks for reply I was thinking of maybe 5psi as i dont want lots more power only want to get about 20-30 hp extra as my celica is fully striped & fast enough in the corners I just want a little more low end coming out of a bend because i get impatient waiting for power band @ 5200rpm to have any effect so would like to get the girl up to there sooner so thinking that forced induction is the way to go & everyone has turbos so like to be a little different & run a sc12
