Hi, Ive got a 89 st 3sfe 5spd and 3rd gear makes allitle grind when i shift. But its only if i shift over 3000 rpm. Otherwise it wont make the noise. If it is making the noise and i shift it very slowly, you can hear the gears grinding. But once its past the grind it goes right into gear, with not much pressure but with the noise. I also changed my tranny fluid to see if it would help. It didnt do anything. Whats goin on? thanks
worn syncro. don't worry about it. they don't make the syncros anymore so you'll end up replacing the trans eventually.
