205 brakes and suspension on 165?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the hubs of a 205 will fit on a 165 on all four corners. I plan to run 205 brakes, and would like a full coilover suspension, and figure that if the knuckles will fit then I should just be able to swap them out. right?

knuckles wont fit. Brakes wont clear the lower ball join on the stock hub. The st205 uses a completely different suspension design. super strut if im not mistaken. Your going to have to do more research.

You can adapt the rear 205 brakes to fit, but it is a lot of work. The fronts are even harder, many a person has tried it, but withour access to machining tools its a very hard job.

It can be done, but there are easier ways, one guy in England, who has just joined gary ST165 uses his existing calipers with a new spacer and Audi TT discs for much better stopping power. He also runs DMS coilovers, but these are mega expensive, they come from Austrialia and need sending back to there for maintence. I am not aware of any other of the shelf coilover packages for our cars. If you can weld, there are ways to DIY convert to coilovers, but unless you are going to be doing almost 100% track work, I think that there are easier and more practical suspension solutions.

The 205 as said above uses super strut suspension which works well, but is very complicated and costly to mainitain.
