is there anything else you may need doing or like me to try and help with that you have had lying around waiting to put on or fix?incase i need to bring extra tools or equiptment lol
Slave cylinder came today , took 20minutes to install myself, very very easy job. However in the next month I'll be going for a drive to bayswater to pick up some king springs, deciding between 30mm or 50mm, car is currently 200mm from the ground, I'll need new shockers as well so maybe we can do them? I'll give you labour money of course. Also I might get you to sus out my power steering leak, not sure if it's just a hose or the rack but the leak is pretty intense
2 hours + Carpet Upholstery = Very happy with the way they have turned out, looking extremely clean and like new!
Glad you were able to do the slave cylinder man.if you decide to get the shocks and springs let me know in advance so i can organise it and get a rattle gun and spring compressors to make life easier. will have to take a day to do it though and afterwards you would beed a wheel alignment. So let me know as im in baysie anyways.
Will do man , thanks for the offer I was surprised at the ease of the slave cylinder, a few youtube videos and someone to pump the clutch and it was done! I will definitely let you know once I get the new shocks and springs
Mmmm , I think I have found a new favorite, These will definitely be on my car after my suspension upgrade
The red circle is where the majority of the fluid is leaking, directly in the centre. There is about 3-4 ripples that drip quite frequently.
a few things: the line going into the rack, rear main seal, passenger side axle seal. three different fluids!
My lines and all hoses are fine, it's either my rack or pump. The pump is behind the rack so by rights if the rack was leaking the pump shouldn't have fluid on it? If the rack was leaking wouldn't it just be the rack covered in fluid?
sorry. :lol2 to be honest if your pump was clean, you could say that it is the rack since it is lower. no chance of it being the crankshaft seal/oil pump seal?
Waiting behind a truck when this happened , slapt it in neutral and put my indicator on to turn into the right lane when itsafe too, Woman driving down loses her lateral lane position and collects the side of my car. Yet she's accusing me of pulling into the lane, yet there is a whole scrape long her door and my front bumper slightly popped out. Now if I was to be turning into her lane how does my front bumper pop out like that.
man that sucks...hopefully insurance to sort you out? otherwise a new fender/corner should fix you up...spray paint for the bumper?
Thats no good man.if insurance doesnt work and you need a new indicator let me know as i can help with that. also if you are after a jdm ecu i have one i want to get rid of. hope it all gets sorted quick man all the best and let me know when you want springs done.
Yeah man well with the Power steering leak, this damage and a due service soon I'm not too sure when I can scrounge up the cash for the springs, but I will definitely let you know when I can, and if it's when you're back at work I will possibly organise a Saturday or something like that. Well anyway, I decided to do a bit myself, just softly working the dents, buffing the scrapes, and bring the metal back to shape and this is my result. A friend of mine has a high rpm quality buffer that he said might bring it up a little better, And as for the indicators I have a spare side one here it is the actual light next to the headlight that I am after. Thank you for the offer and I really appreciate the help!! Not even gonna bother dealing with insurance for my damage, a nice touch up after it's all buffed should be good for now. It's if i lose the case and that I have to fork out the excess... Gonna be a killer , but oh well. Lets just hope I win..!
Car can be driven again at least, , the corner light doesn't fit very snug which sucks but at least I can drive it again.!
Good to see you got it quickly sorted. Its ok about the springs man im looking at investing in a set f spring cmpressors for if i decide to take my superlows out and install my lows again. keep me posted as i will alway offer help if it means you save money instead of going to a lace that will charge out the arse lol. as for the post facelift indicator i have spare here also f you fall short of getting replacements i mainly need the pre facelifts as the are harder to coma across undamaged lol.
