FINALLY coughed up some loot for near mint used set of rims/tires - the MB 5x's. 15x6.5 4x100 +38 / 195-50-r15.
They came with all the center caps, new unused lugs, hubcentric rings and some Hankook Ventus tires.
I had to drive a bit to get them, but worth almost double what I paid :cheers

Wheels are on now :mrgreen A little bit stiffer ride but not much. Improved handling quite a bit - more than expected.
They look pretty good, I'd like them better if they were white but hey what can you do :hehe
Now that I have that sorted, new lowering springs and struts coming soon :twisted

I went for another drive tonight, most of that rear shimmy is gone (it's a vert thing since there's no real roof) Originally I thought it was bad trailing arm bushings, but I see now the 13" wheels with too much side wall was the problem (thanks mafix) :cheers

They're really not an expensive wheel, best bang for your buck. I would've bought them new if I could get them in colors like white or black. Since I can't, I bought a decent used set.

I'm still planning to convert 5x100, but I figure I'll run out of cash after the suspension is finished so at least I'll have some some decent wheels for the time being. :mrgreen

I like the 7x's better, but it's too much hassle to trade.
I though of that and did the art for it, but I have nothing TRD and TRD makes nothing for our cars
so that would be a no. :toetap05 When The car gets resprayed maybe next year, I'll redo the stripes.

LOL just a coincidence and temporary until I convert.
The leaky bead on the stockers was driving me nuts so I had to do something about it :cool

Thanks :twisted Says 1.6" drop, but I think it won't be quite that much.

I'm guessing this will be about what I'll end up with. I'll take some REAL shots after it's done 4-sure :cheers

My KYB strut top mounts are on the way, still need a few more odds & ends for the suspension set up :mrgreen

My aluminum MB hub centric rings came this weekend so now I have the correct rings for my wheels :hsdance The set that came with the wheels were for a VW so they were useless :roll

If you need rings, measure in inside of your wheel (in my case for the MB 5x's is 73.1mm) and our hubs are 51.4mm - those should be the rings you get :mrgreen Here's the MB's I bought ~$15 well worth every cent
