My first time posting about my celica here and I got it for my 15th birthday which is 3 years ago.. Must say it is a wonderful car! When I first got the car, it had 80,000 miles on it from some elderly woman. Shortly after time that my dad had it, he put it up to 90,000. Now that it was mine for 3 years, I only have 111,000 miles. Everything is OeM still except stereo and a system I installed two months ago. Replacing my rims and tires this weekend! Will upload pictures later today for sure!
Well this was yesterday on a cloudy day after she is all dirty and what not but yes, she is a beauty!!
Thanks man, I'm gonna upload some pictures tomorrow with the new rims and tires following the interior as well!
Finally put my rims and tires on. Looks amazing if you ask me! ☺ I also spent my whole day mounting, aligning, and customizing the Celica more because when I replaced the rack and pinon I needed to align my new rims and tires either way. But I went to the junkyard locally in TX and shopped around and found some sweet Celica parts as well!
thanks bro! And I found a cup holder for the center console when you open it, the bar for the engine where it connects on both sides and in the middle by bolts, and a new Celica grille I that goes in front of the car!
I think I've seen before that type of cup holder for the center console, they're really cool,I wish that they exist here in Europe I prefere that over mine in the arm rest.
I knew those rims would look good on your Celica It looks as if they were made for the car. Great photos !
So yesterday was a hot sunny day in El Paso but I decided to give my Celica a nice clean wash after installing everything that needed to be installed. Took a couple of photos since some of you might be interested what is in my Celica exactly or what I've done to it through time. But check it out and let me know what you guys would wanna see or find out about! Took this gorgeous shot today on my break at work! She was just sittin' nice and pretty waiting for me Crazy thing is, my dad found me this bra for my celica and it looks amazing I must say. Told me its a rare item to find and would be worth using once my Celica is registered in shows or even at local car meets! One beautiful photo from cockpit point of view! Docking station that I ordered from e-bay so I can install my own stereo that is pioneer by the way with the system included! (NO PIC YET, BUT WILL INCLUDE LATER!) Check out my miles though, sweet huh? Backseats still intact and everything is 100% perfect back there!
take that bra off...... not worth it...i had one and it scratched up the front so bad, and yes i did take it off to clean....was a pain and no its not that rare, you can still buy them new. but nice looking celica but you need new tint. also ditch that auto handle shifter.... mines an auto in this pic.
Thanks bro, feedback is feedback and it doesn't bother me. Didn't realize that the bra wasn't rare because to be honest, there are no Celica's from 4TH GEN here in El Paso and it is the safest city in Texas. My dad just found it one day and surprised me with it yesterday homie. But thanks anyway dude, yeah and I do realize my tint is faded and is purple. I will replace it sooner or later after I paint the Celica Oh wow, and nice cockpit! Do you mean telling me where you got or how you did some of your modifications? I really want to do some high-tek stuff like that to mine bro!
for the cluster, just replace with white leds, i believe 10smd size... i found a bezel on ebay and painted that white along with the cluster paneling, took an entire night to dry...... yeah i need to redo it anyways.... heres a link to the bezel black is on top and silver is on bottom http://www.amazon.com/Ferreus-Indus...8-1-fkmr0&keywords=86-89+celica+cluster+bezel http://www.amazon.com/Ferreus-Indus...81&sr=8-1&keywords=86-89+celica+cluster+bezel the leds are here... you dont need these but its a quick reference for you to use http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-X-Car-Ul...fits=Model:Celica&hash=item3a90d133cc&vxp=mtr the shifter you will need to work a little bit, you must remove your overdrive button, you will have to cut and reattach them.... tuck it away.... you will have to slim down the metal body of the shifter once you take the knob off.... then fit a universal one wil a button on top (so you can shift with a safety still attached (you must make sure the shifter is pushed enough on), trim as needed..... anyways just an example of what you need. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SILVER-CARB...Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ad456ee81&vxp=mtr
@flatliner Hey dude thanks, I have been needing some information like that. Just not to tecky with cars cause my dad helps me out a lot and its basically like our project car but its still mine. Either way I am also looking and wondering how other modifications can be done to the Celica. Mind helping a fellow out?
