5-speed manual 1989 Celica GTS with 196,000 kms. Absolutely no rust. Full power group, sunroof, and all systems work. Aftermarket Pioneer CD deck, Appliance/Enkei BBS-style alloys, and Ractive air filter/intake.

This car is strictly a mechanic's special. I am the third or fourth owner and bought it from an auto wrecker, who had it sitting on his lawn for about two years and was unable to provide a documented history. Clutch is periodically soft, and most of the interior speakers are blown.

After driving it for about ten kilometers, I couldn't get it to start, apparently due to serious engine trouble - no compression in any of the four cylinders.

Two separate mechanics have said the engine head and valves need replacing, for starters. A new gasket may be needed as well. Cost estimates for the repair range from $2000-3000 just to get it running again. Due to the inactivity of the car for so long, a bunch of other stuff is probably going to need replacing as well - brakes are estimated to be at less than 50% capacity. Expect to invest a lot of coin into this car.
