Hi guys, i figured id show the 162 guys in case anyone was interested. Clean Title in hand. Tags are good through August 2012 and she drives just about perfect. I put a lot of work into this car since i got it running in May of this year. I purchased it as a rolling shell from a user on Alltrac.net; after some blood, sweat (no tears, since it was a blast to put together) its driving with no overheating issues, no allignment issues and no streering shutters at all. Paint is about 7/10 for a 23 year old car, maybe a nice detail will bring it up to an 8/10. I'm currently running 10lbs during it's daily duties to and from school; which is all i really use it for these days. Asking $6500 price is negotiable of course Located in Upland, CA Mileage on chassis - 149,220 Mileage on Engine - Approx 30,000 Here is a video of the car idling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErxeGwG3 ... fbuJN-DyqM and a quick one of the car driving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQiyNSDr ... fbuJN-DyqM Any interest or questions will be seen quicker via Email since it goes to my phone. velocitysti@yahoo.com -Engine/Driveline- -ST205 Gen 3 swap w/gen 2 bottom end(Approx 30k on engine) -63/60 T3/T4 Turbo -SS braided turbo oil feed line -SS braided fuel line -Odyssey PC680 Drycell Battery (14lbs) 1 year old -Manual boost controller (ball & spring) -Blitz SS blow-off valve -Tial F38 (38mm) external waste gate -ATS T3 adaptor -3" Uni air filter -8x28" FMIC with 2.5" black powdercoated IC piping w/T-bolt clamps -Black powdercoated valve cover -custom made 3" DP -custom made 3" exhaust to HKS resonator -Shortened/new power steering lines -Custom clutch line -ACT 6 puck sprung clutch -Brand new front axles from Rock Auto -Chassis/Suspension- -15 inch Speedlines -Brand new Nitto NT-450 tires -Polyurethane Mudguards -Goodridge SS braided brake lines all around -Motul for clutch and brake fluid -Slotted rotors -B&G springs -KYB AGX -Interior- -very old Personal steering wheel -very old Momo limited edition 'Toyota' horn button -Very old HKS turbo timer -very old EMS boost gauge -Stock boost gauge still works as well -Pioneer head unit w/aux input -Infinity replacement speakers -Power windows, sunroof and mirrors work -Even has power seats that still work -No rips in seats whatsoever -Other things it comes with- -Stock wheels + full size spare -Stock Scissor jack + Green toyota tire change bag -Original owners manual -Original product line up booklet for 1988 -Walbro 255lph fuel pump (not installed) -Lexus yellow fog light capsules (not installed) -The Bad- *3rd gear is notchy however i daily drive it and it rarely grinds. *the dash is ALMOST perfect and i say 'almost' because it has 1 crack which i put there..
I've seen you driving around and at the school. That thing is just mint. hope it goes to a good owner. I'd gladly take it if I had the cash :mrgreen
Kevman, this is a beauty of a car. From the looks of it you put quite a bit time (and perhaps money) to get her in such good running condition. I have to ask why would you sell it when you haven't even been driving it for a year? I don't know if I could let it go :cry if I only got to drive it 7-8 months.
Jamezzy- you must go to chaffey over in rancho. thanks for the kind words AC/cruise control have been removed---heater works great. thanks for the comments guys, i did take my time on this build, however with school and family obligations i need something a little bigger, like a pick-up or a sedan; i really dont want to part with her but i kinda have to unfortunatly..
Still up for grabs. Here is a walk around video of the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN943DZy ... re=related and a night video showing that the gauges work.. and that the car runs good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X-uYpuB ... re=related
Shoot, you still haven't sold this thing yet? GLWS dude. Your '165 is legit. Still wish my parents would let me get it. :/
How's the sale going? EDIT: Nvm. Found out it was sold. I just found out it was you and Moneky8oi who's cars I saw and were the only 4thGens at TORC Fest. Lucky buyer! Did the car go to a good home?
