if i move my induction box closer to the intake will it cause any problems. what my problem is the old induction hose is busted up and im having to make a new one i need to relocate the box closer to the intake. im just wandering if moveing the box closer will cause any problems with performance or any other way.oh ya its a 3sge motor.also can the mas air sensor work on its side or upside down.im trying to figure out how i can run a new intuction hose.

you could stick the maf right on the tb if you really wanted to, hell i used to have mine vertical. you should be fine, just make sure she doesnt suck anything up..

so the maf will work upside down. and moveing it closer to the throtle body wont mess anything up.

all the maf is, is a flap that opens as the engine draws in more and more air, with a flow sensor to read it back to the ecu. in theory it shoud work anywhere
