I was talking to that ebay guy that makes adapters a few days ago, and he told me that a 19mm would be easier to install because the oem studs would fit flush on the adapters, which would allow the wheel to fit on correctly or something like that... I wonder if there's any easy way to get the 15mm ones to work better... For fender flares, maybe you could get Golf II fender flares like the Black BOBIS ST162 seen above.
haven't seen any of those around, an I'd like to do my own thing nevertheless the look is what I'm going for tho lol.
Check out what I've found on Ebay: Why is it on this car? http://cgi.ebay.com/GT4-Bonnet-Scoop-/2 ... 415b946bff Or this which looks better an has lots of move to play with http://cgi.ebay.com/universal-toyota-gt ... 19c13b7be2
People and tuning companies like that GT4 hood intake a lot, and they are copying and selling it for a lot of cars, and even the intake part seperately. That and the "older" Evo hood intake as well.
how come that scoop looks different from rev's and jai's? still looks badass though.... just different
coz that scoop is more true to the proper st185 grp A. bonnet. search google images and you will see the grp A. bonnet has that big buldge. the bit that Jai and i have is actually just the insert witch is seperate from the bonnet and bolts in
oooooooooo i see.... because it looks loads better with the big lump! lol but for our chassis, i prefer the ones you guys have. its a little too aerodynamic looking and not as sharp and defining like the shape of our gen.
Nonsense! lol. You're right about that hump. It does look better, but not too much of a hump. But with perfect attention to detail and design relative to the Celica, this example is IMO, one of the best. Not too round like on a 5th or 6th gen but not too boxy. This would not work on an AE86, because of the boxy design. But the 4th gen Celica that Toyota made has such a unique body design, so much more modern than it's era, but still keeping itself within 80's design. The car's design is round enough to incorporate some designs. Like I've said before, the wider body flares. Fenders flares can work too, but you can compliment the body more if you can pay attention to the how the 4th gen speaks to you through its design. It's like a freakin stealth car, if you ask me. I've got some mad ideas for this car soon.
love the vents! and i rest my case.... lol it does look badass!!!!!!!!! just had to see it to believe it i stand corrected :cool
Yea it looks great! now I've been mending my car an saving up for all the things I've been posting here but my power steering pump has been leaking and my friend tell me that I'll have better handing if I don't use it, should I fix it or let it be? Cuss it feels like 20lbs heavier lol.
you wont have better handling, it will be worse. the faster your going the lighter the steering will get. the advantage on no P/S is less rotational mass straining the motor and to a degree less weight full stop. the trouble is P/S and non P/S racks are different. simply removing the pump will make steering 3 times as hard. converting the rack to a non P/S rack will be better. still no where near has light as having P/S but bearable
i got my PS belt cut and the every time the road is leaning to one side, it's hard to keep the car straight. it's so heavy that driving a car with PS feels like an xbox steering wheel
Well I need to get my hands on a Lower power steering high pressure hose any ideas where I can get one ? dealship says its discontinued. :byodood
