    I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!! was a bitch to set up. But i got here to work so i DONT need the cds.

    thanks for rubbing it in! oh well i will be able to get it soon. haven;t received the cd's yet, but i really appreciate what st165 is doing for me. so when i get them i will be burning up that program. hahhahahah

    No real need to. The link I gave (yankeetoys) has had it forever and I have a backup copy I can upload if it ever disappears from there.

    I did as the instructions said and the CD SETUP but it didn't promp me for the cds did i do something wrong?

    it will prompt u when u want to look up parts

    i have to keep disc 2 in my drive when i want to look up parts. its cool though. love the program. wish i could navigate it better. but it will come with time.

    Well all new operating systems are suposed to be bacwards compatible......but were talking about MicroSHAFT.

    For those of us in North America it is allways best to use your VIN # with the EPC. By useing your VIN # the EPC will only list the part for your car and not all the different options for different models. As an example I have used my 88 GTS VIN # to look up a starter. Without the VIN # if you just choose 88-89 celica you get multiple listings.

    So here I have entered the VIN # and the EPC has returned some other info

    With the VIN # the EPC lists only a GTS starter

    Without the VIN # the EPC lists all the different 88-89 celica starters
