Just changed oil, performed flush beforehand, some black thick nasty shit came out, put fresh 15w40 semi synthetic, but now it blue smokes all the time and bad under load..is she done, or they don't like the semi?

You probably want something a bit thicker than 15w40. I doubt that being semi-synthetic has anything to do with it.

Maybe the flush you used cleared up some protecting old oil which kept the seals sealed...

That's about what I thought, the valve stem seals were probably all gummed up. Now they're not, and oil is escaping into the combustion chamber. Change out that 40-weight oil for some 60-weight and see if it makes any difference.

Changed to 30-70w- oh yes,. now blue smoke has changed to black but only when engine gets to normal temp..definitely sounds better less engine noise
