what is the strut on the suspension?

    never heard of that term. is is what the "strut" bar sits on? well i don't know and reading all of this stuff is really confusing the shit out of me.

    well i was planning of getting kyb shocks with eibach lowing springs. but now i'm worried about the strut because i dont know what it is.

    these diagrams use the term "shock absorber" for the gas cartridge that is typically replaced (besides the springs) Some people go all out and replace everything. I will most likely replace everything front and rear.

    front is not the whole assembly, the shock absorber or as you call it as strut, separates from the housing. the rears are the whole bit thing the springs sit on

    This is why everyone should get their hands on a BGB(Big Green Book). Having diagrams like this at your disposal is worth its weight in gold.
