so im buying a new engine. and there is a 88 alltrac at an autowrecker in nelson BC, and i have a family member 30 mins away. if this works i need engine wire harness, ECU, MAF, Ignitor pack, coil, anyhting else? wonder why i couldnt get that spark plug out.
- turbo - intercooler - intercooler radiator - intercooler pump - all trac radiator fan more powerful than a GTS fan - all trac radiator has a return fitting for turbo coolant - all trac radiator overflow tank and the metal tank that was added as a recall (2 tanks 1 plastic and 1 metal with a pressure cap) - the all trac guage cluster has a boost guage instead of the battery guage - cooling duct and casing for the altenator - all trac starter and GT transmission unless you want to hack a hole in a 3sge transmission
dear god. lack of oil changes? i'm lost as to why the valve keeper failed. perhaps the valve spring broke? find out. it would be good to know. (hoping you didn't over rev the hell out of it)
lol no that piston was olny in there for 1,500kms, i was driving at night about 60kmh in 4th gear and it almost sounded like the timing belt went a whirling sputter and it was dead, just would not start or fire after but never made banging noise, now that i think of it i could feel clunking through the pedals it was weird. as for all the turbo parts i might just be able to buy the whole car from the autowreckers then just swap everything in the engine bay ps i already have a 91 camry 3sfe transmission as the gts tranny went a couple years ago
something else happened there. we have non interference motors. under no case will the piston hit the valves. now was it rebuilt?
3 times lol. i picked up the 2nd gen 3sgte for 500$ today, im missing the turbo its self, the oil filter adapter and the oil line to the turbo and i think another hose, theres just a threaded hole in the block and like a radiator hose coming out of the pan. i want to get a stock ct26 i think it is does anyone have their stock turbo they want to sell?
