Thanks guys, doing my best to please as usual!

Attacked the wings with a grinder to cut off the rust, with hope of saving them. Certainly saves me having to buy some seen as in reality they arnt in bad condition bar the missing piece behind the kit that had rusted away. So heres how it went.

So its was cold and damp outside the other day, had been out in it all day at work so though Id stay inside next to the fire and try to revive the engine loom....

And so an hour later......I have only got this far. This is going to take some time
    [IMG]

Now both parts more or less sorted, nice new conduit (without the mouse teeth marks) and re-taped up only found one plug missing which appears to be for the A/C compressor clutch soon sort that.

Little bit of fettling required to get this to work, there are minor differences between 165 and 185 fronts but it is do able.

Just need to get some bushes made up to account for the smaller size arm mount. Otherwise looks spot on even if I do say so myself

Will look a little like this then.... Test fitted with some wheels
    [IMG]

Testing a colour.... not what I was looking for though so gone for Toyota 168
    [IMG]

Did another sample on the bulkhead, not dark enough and looks too silver
    [IMG]

Set too with some Por15 on the underside, this is one layer anyway which covered reasonably well. Couple more and should be ok.

Thanks, Ill send you what little skill I have. Its more a case of having a go at the end of the day, only then can you say you cant do it.

Anyway keeping you up to date again. Well havent got much done so far this week, and too many other things to do today as well. As it was a nice day here is the evidence of what I did manage.....

The new box all cleaned up then painted, looks the part now :D

Finally Toyota 168 on the left next to previous test, well its a bit disappointing. I know its hard to tell from the picture. Its a really nice colour dont get me wrong just not as dark as I was hoping so looks like a little bit of fettling is required ;)

    Love Toyota #168.
    My 86GTS is #159 - pewter, kind of a blue-grey metallic.
