    I think if you look close Nate, those are the pre-face, just has the lower grille extensions taken off... If I'm seeing things right. :corsair

    yea, had to make the change. it was squeezing the grill piece warping it. only way to save it.... :sad
    i'll get my hands on another set from the stig soon enough! good to have a jdm connection :thumbsup:

    If you can't close a deal with Stig, I can probably come up with a set of facelift corners. I'm in them a little bit of money, but get with Kiwi Kev first to see what he can do.... :thumbsup:

    Very nice Kev. I agree, with that grill it gives that distinct expression and presence "Don't F*** with me."
    I prefer it more over the older grill

    went to the junk yard the other day and found an FE with a really nice, but not perfect valve cover. went today and grabbed it! sorry i didnt have a before photo of it. it wasnt in the cleanest condition with dried oil covering more than half of it. well got home around 1 pm and just finished! this is the result.... a good 4 and a half hours work.

    didnt worry too much about the side because its covered by the t-belt covers and the harness

    yea, these black marks are stained? i couldnt get them out.

    80 grit
    180
    320
    400
    600
    800

    Nice!

    That makes me wanna get a new valve cover for my GE. Found plenty of GE's in better condition at the junkyard, but never really bothered.

    lol well if i had a gbe, i'd try to find one with mind paint! the oem paint and color mix is effin awesome! only with the fe's because they arent painted.

    gonna add some black to fill the spaces i couldnt get to at the top of the valve cover....

    yea man.... cant decide! lol they are both so awesome!!! i'll eventually switch back.....
    but anyways, i had to redo the valve cover. all the little spots were irritating. so back to sqare one and more hours of work. its done now and looking better than before. i picked up a polishing kit as well that came with 3 clay bars. great results guys! if you are gonna do this, get the kit. helps a bunch
