Hey guys, my motor is built and sitting on the engine stand waiting to get installed. I ordered a spec stage 3 clutch, and that is what I am waiting on. The question is this... I have built a motor with a 3sgte pistons/rods/etc... on a 3sgte crank in a 3sgelc block. Since I ditched the stock gt-s tranny and got a lightly used one from a 97 celica gt, I will need to block off the motor where the starter used to sit under my exhaust. Any suggestions? Thanks
Shouldn't be a problem I'm running a 5sfe gearbox behind my( yes it's a 5sfe block) 5sgte but I'm using a 3sge crank and clutch. The blocking off of the original starter hole under the exhaust is normally done by the plate that's is between the block and bellhousing on a 5sfe or any 3sgte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
