A lot has happened since I was last posting regularly! Due in part to losing my license and Celina developing a loud knocking problem, I decided to start work on my White Lightning! So far I've: Bought and fitted BC Racing BR ST184 coilovers with 6kg/mm springs front and rear and 30 points of dampener adjustment Re-bushed the front control arms using polyurethane bushings Bought and fitted all new ball-joints, rack ends and tie-rod ends Installed the clutch pedal and master cylinder from my old blue Celica (R.I.P.) Swapped to a manual gear shifter and installed gear shifter cables out of a V6 Camry Bought and installed ST185 front brakes A/C deleted Cruise control deleted, swapped throttle cable over to the regular one I've also picked up a 2nd gen 3SGE out of an MR2 with 140 000 Km on the clock, plus a gearbox for the dismal sum of $100! I've yet to replace the water pump, timing belt, common leaky seals, gaskets etc. on the engine, but I'm getting there! The wiring harness has been a fun job, I pulled the harness out of the White Lightning and modified it to take the 2nd gen ECU and sensors. Anyone who has done anything like this before will know how much fun it is haha Here's some pictures As she sits today: Dat low. In the background is my new daily after I got my license back, POS Hyundai Excel! Single cam POWER! The Commodore isn't mine, I swear. I love having coilovers! I don't have the rear wheels fitted because I need to get some bolt on spacers, they rub on the coilovers! 0 kW Big brakes :twisted New engine, rocker cover painted "Ford Blue" :hehe aaaaaand my engine harness WIP. Almost finished, just need an IAT and a couple other bits and pieces. The day I can drive this thing out of my driveway, I will be sporting the biggest shit-eating grin you will ever see. I'd be happy with being able to start the engine for now though haha
Jeez, it sits that low without even having an engine in it?! Is it everything completely flat down there?
So the lip is semi-transparent? Aren't you worried about getting defected first night you're out driving? Or maybe NSW is just a little harsher... :crying
The coilovers are base height adjustable, and I've set the height a little low just for fun Everything is far from flat, the roads down here are mostly rubbish! It's actually glow in the dark I just shone my LED torch on it to produce that dotted effect
