well first check your wiring connections, if not then it almost sounds like a set of fuel fouled plugs. to much gas shot at them without running and it pretty well killed them. quick way to test. time to nut up or shut up, start your car and pull plug wires, you WILL get shocked, try not to let go have a friend in the car to shut it off. i did it on a 8cyl chevy. insulated pliers my ass... if idle changes its not the plugs. if it doesnt guess what. or be a pansy and spend the 20 on new plugs. if thats not the case id pull your dist cap off take a sharp exacto knife or a flat screwdriver and gently scrape all the corrosion off the terminals and off the rotor. dont go breaking it.
