Re-brush blower fan motor

    image.jpg image.jpg So my fan started acting sketchy...not coming on occasionally. Instinctively a slight rap would invariably start it up. Obviously a 30 year old set of brushes at minimum would be in order....or just get a cheepo from O'Reillys.
    Needless to say I opened it up and ten buck$ later with a set of generic 1/4 brushes and a soldering iron it's running like new.

    image.jpg image.jpg Yeah, I saved a load of $ and the original is way better then the aftermarket versions. There was absolutely no free play in the bushings...
