Some additional info about EDM 162 :

Rear wing sticker
2.0 GT CELICA TOYOTA --> 1986/87 models.
2.0 GTi-16 CELICA TOYOTA --> 1988/89 models.
Both with 3SGE engine.

To my knowledge, "2.0 TWIN CAM 16" side decals weren't available on EDM, even as an option (at least, on the french market).

 

I have been thinking of putting on a side door decal on my AT160. Do you have for that modell? checked http://www.toyodiy.com and saw that the JDM modell of the AT160 was also delivered with "Twin Cam" on the side, only without the "2,0". I Also think it is smaller, dough I can't say that for certain. Same font as the ST162.

What is your price?

 

Yes, the AT160 celica is 1.6 liter (or 1.8 depending of domestic market) engine powered. I do not think that 1.6 TWIN CAM decal is available from a Toyota dealer.

 

Yes, mine is a 1,6 4AGE engined one, EDM modell, but checked up on www.toyodiy.com and saw that there was a "Twin Cam" decal on the 1,6 as well, only without "1,6"

Could of course use a "2,0 Twin Cam" and then drop the "2,0", but seems like the writing is smaller, check the link:

The "Twin Cam 16" side decal pictured in the link is for JDM. Don't think that you'll be able to order it in Europe.

I´ll check up if it is possible, but as long as one has a part number, I think it is possible. The question is, and most likely, if they are discontinued.

Therefor I´m also looking for aftermarked ones

 

I did try to ask for side decals at a french Toyota dealer. They answered me if it's from another domestic market, it's impossible (not imported).

For aftermarket ones, ask to Stig on the forum. He made my "2.0 Twin cam 16" and some other deck lid decals.
Same font, same size and same color than the originals.

I have given the boys of my local Toyota shop a hard time before, so they are used to me beeing a little more demanding than the average Avensis buyer I´ll give them a try first, but does Stig make his own decals?

I want to give my car the extra 80´s feeling by giving it the "Twin Cam 16", makes the car a little more 80´s

 

btw, for the st165 from cdm, i have "turbo4wd Celica Toyota" for the spoiler if that helps

-anybody ever though about doing these in japapnese with the same style?

-you can see the celica spelling in the toyota ecu pin-outs section in technical. i think that would be pretty rad for the rear spoiler "celica". a small toyota in katakana would also be rad.

-either way ill need a set of viynl soon.
