Keep st162, or sell?

So I just got this st162 recently, and I can't decide if I want to spend money on engine swap and making it look good. I don't know if I want to stick with a front wheel drive car! Have people done conversions? Im scared that if I do spend money on this car, I won't like it after a little while. Maybe I should sell the car and get my hands on an alltrac? Basically, I got the car for cheap cause the springs were chopped and the ride was terrible. I am fixing it and could sell it for more money, or can keep and make this thing look and drive good.

    Thanks for any opinions!

When I bought my project st162, I bought for looks. I wanted a good chassis and body. When I bought it, the motor was dead (spun rod bearings at 200+k miles). I then spent 2 years working on it, new motor, transmission, custom work, new suspension, etc.

The first time I drove it I honestly couldn't stop smiling.

Yea, but will I have a bigger smile if I spend 2 years with an alltrac?

Yes, an alltrac is a way nicer drive, especially cornering.

But consider it will also cost you more money as there are more parts in the drivetrain and most of them are difficult to score and/or expensive.

Cool. Il probably stick with my 162 for now. What are the ups and downs of the alltrac vs. my 162? Is it just the +better cornering/handling but -more parts and more expensive? I think they both look great and would love working with either, but i just like the ease of drifting with awd cars.

?? AWD cars are bastards to drift (unless you mean on dirt?)

Okay, it is a little tougher especially with lower speeds. But compared to a fwd? You don't think there's much difference?

I don't think the Alltrac open and viscous diffs will let you drift -
WRC cars had special LSD diffs fitted, no you can't buy them anymore

GT4 is heavier, uses more fuel and is harder/more expensive to buy parts for

On a tight dry track I don't see the GT4 winning against a short geared JDM 162, on ice or rain it should have an advantage

I think im going to stick with my 162, and maybe stick a 3s gte into it. And if anything, il just pull it back out.
