The I new bumper I got is much bigger than the stock one you got pictured. Tomorrow I will be taking it off, and seeing if it fixes the problem. If so, I'm going to try and get my hands on a shorter bump.

Cut them down, it's either rubber or poly.
If the car is lowered you'll need to cut them shorter than stock

Thank you. It was better when I pulled my bump stops out. Il cut my new ones and stick em back in there when I get a chance. The problem was actually in the nut that held the shock in the strut harness though. Like eNtraxGT88 said, I had to modify the old nut, but what I did was slid a small piece of my old bump stop between the new nut and the harness so that it would hold my shock better. I don't know if any of that made sense, but that fixed it! thanks for everyones help.

been ready for new shock/spring for a while now, prob gonna get kyb gr2 and either eibach or bg springs, not sure what spring to get, also will using a lowering spring with a oem replacement shock take away life from the shock, when to reuse top mounts and bumpstops an when not to, and how far to cut bump stops down ...thanks

You still looking for GR-2 rear struts? I've got a set in my shop that I took off my GTS awhile back when I went to coil-overs. Those and a set of KYB AGX front inserts, that I might just be willing to sell!! Oh and they were never used on the street, just 3 track days on them....
