Hey guys so the engine temp doesn't work anymore or atleast not very well. I am installing an aftermarket gauge to keep an eye on it plus I just like to look cool. They say extra gauges make you fsster. anyways would I be getting good readings by outing the sender unit into the radiator hose, just before it goes to all the other sensors? I also plan on installing a afr gauge and a oil pressure gauge so where would I put the sender units for those????

Follow the directions. They tell you where to install the sensors at.

The problem with that is where it says to instal it is also the same place it says not to install it if your cars electric dans are ran of the original sensor. So where else can it be installed to get accurate readings.

What's an electric dan? Is that some guy named Dan who throws Zeus bolts?

The gauges I bought came with directions where to install them. It's up to you where you want to ultimatly install them. I'm going to be buying an oil sammich plate here sometime soon so I can install my oil pressure gauge in it. I'm torn between either installing it down there (as my oil filter is at the bottom of my engine) or up in the head where the factory sensor is at and making a custom installation with some lines.

My coolant temp sensor is right after the stock unit (but of course my stock unit isn't working). Right in the upper hose.
