Mechanic disconnected my subwoofer cable and said radio is somehow wired wrong. Which wire would kee the car running when key has been taken out? any help?
starter keeps cranking had to disconnect it... pullled both battery wires till i got it to shut off by removing the alternator wire a couple weeks ago. Today it was shutting off fine but when subwoofer cable is plugged this happens when key is taken out.... can only turn it off by clutching out and then opening hood to disconnect battery so it doesnt get drained. When i turn it back on starter keeps cranking while engines running makes a nasty screetching sound so currently left it unplugged from battery and starter. Would like to remove radio but would like to know which wire is exaclty making this connection from amp to cars power source.
i've had it happen to me before. the only thing for me that was electrically modded was the starter relay mod, ends up my relay was stuck open inside. and yeh it does keep on cranking even without the key in, i'm guessing mine is a different case though
Yeah. I got alot from engine relay... I found the problem it seems to be the wiring harness is all burnt together at the location under the wiper motor wiring goes under passenger wheel through the firewall and into interior. What to do to fix this?
Heres the pic of the wiring its connceted to the harness you can see in the first pic I kinda cleaned it up but it was all burnt together in that spot and then runs under the passenger wheel well. Anyone know the name how hard it is to sawp yourself? If anyone has a excellent shape one ill take it thanks has to be USDM connectors.
that is the body harness. it's a bitch to swap but not impossible. but i should have all of that depending on the model. in you case, you have an alltrac right?, i don't have that body harness i don't think. i'll have to check. i've got like 3 of them.
Still Need, I need this part of harness its connected under the second fuse box near speed control on the passenger side box goes through the wheel well and into the engine bay. Top one is a GTS harness and does not WORK because connectors to Headlights/ fog/ cruise control are missing on the GTS model harness anoyone with this part please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks Adam
