I'm after any info on swapping my ECT controlled (ECU) Auto box with a manual box. I've got the box, driveshafts, shifter cables, shifter, pedal box etc from a scrap Celica. I dont have any problems with the manual side of the conversion, but since my Auto box is wired into the ECU i'm confused on how to go about that part? Any info from anyone who's done the coversion would be really helpful, my cars in mint condition, but the auto doesn't fit in with the whole 'sports Coupe' thing for me... Phil
I've ran an auto ecu in a manual ST162 before, few error codes but no power difference. Disconnect auto controller from ecu (8 wires ish) and it will be fine.
