Those coilovers are way shorter than the ST162,s and even at max height are barely legal.
I bought a set of TEIN for the ST202 and now I'm thinking the're too short as well, I need stock height just to get out the driveway

Does anybody know the different lengths for 162, 182, 202 before I pull it all apart only to find it's too short

Before you get all gungho on this..

Yes it MAY work. I can't say for sure if it will or not. I have a 1989 GTS liftback. Looking up the VIN on mine it was manufactured late in the run and has a lot of parts in common with the 5th gen GT/GTS styles (that those coilovers are made for). Some earlier St162's it may not work as easily as it did on mine.

Before I did the swap I was under the impression that the ST162 hub bolts/nuts (that attach the hub to the shock) were 17mm, and the st182 are a 19mm. I was surprised when I went to take mine off and they were 19mm bolts. To further enforce this idea, I was able ot install a lot of st182 suspension parts on my st162 (end links, bars, tie rods, etc). I won't say for sure it'll work on your car, it depends on the production timeline. If it's an 89, there is a very good possibility it'll work on yours as well.

I still had to tweak the rears to fit, but that really wasn't much of a big deal. Other than that, everything else bolted right in. As far as the ride, I started out at 5 clicks down. That was just too fucking brutal for the Phoenix streets. I went to I think 15 (so shoudl be right in the center) and the ride smoothed out a lot. I'm going to drop it a few more just to loose a hair more of the rebound while driving.

Oompa had to drill out the front bolt holes on his 86 GT4 by 3mm and I'm going to have to do the same on my 88 GTR. (Bolts came from a ST182/Camry V6)
You could use the old bolts but I'm afraid they could work loose and become dangerous and also there's no way to adjust the camber correctly

We both have 19mm bolts fitted stock, the 182/Camry takes a 22mm socket

Why don't you do what I did and build you own, just cut the perches off, weld on coil-over perch rings, find some suitable inserts (KYB AGX, Koni) or what have you, then just source a decent coil-over kit. As for the coil-over kit, I bought a cheap Drop-Zone setup just for mock-up purposes and early testing. Combined with my KYB AGX inserts, the GTS handled like a go-cart at VIR(Virginia International Raceway) and Roebling Road Raceway. Unfortunately an engine issue has kept me from testing the same suspension housings with Koni inserts and Suspension Spring Specialist (Blue Coil) spring. Here some pics of my setup on the car....
