okay i think i know that its my CV joint. :( however im not sure....

it clicks only when turning and only when im engaging the gears (IE it sounds fine *no noise* in nuetral or in any gear with clutch in)

any ideas I am planning on replacing the cv joint this weekend just trying not to waste money if its something else.

well i've never seen this in a toyota but in hondas that have way too much clutch at rare times the spider gear shears and makes a hell of a noise when turning. but in your case i would say axles possibly rack.

Try taking the turn at speed, while in neutral and see if it still clicks. If it does, I'd go with CV axle.

Just my two cents Ive had bad cv axles(not in my celi) but cv axles are cv axles. They only clicked under accelleration when turning. Id check the boots and see if they are ripped or open.
