If i get a automatic Caldina ST215, could i just fit a manual transmission and the car will boost as normal, without ecu problems.

Like i presume the transmission is electronic etc. Does the ecu require the speed sensor signal to control engine function, like fuel etc. So basically, it would be like all plugs associated with the auto trans disconnected and in place a manual transmission. Could it work?

You may get it to work somewhat but I doubt it would be perfect.

Even on our 4th gens the engines ECU is different for auto & manual tranny's.
So at the very least you should get a ST215 manual ECU and you may need to change the engines wiring harness to.
