I bought this car when it was 7,000KMs old as a company car.
It wasn't suitable, so I got a different car and this sat in the garage.
After many years I managed to get it to 120,000KMs and the timing belt broke.
I found out that this 3SGE motor had been modified with larger injectors and different pistons.
Three valves were bent because it was an interference engine.
The repairer sourced a 120,000KMs stock engine and swapped it in for $600.
This engine had more power, used less fuel and suited the Auto a lot better.
100,000KMs later, I decided to check the timing belt.
Sadly it has now been 2 years since I put the timing belt on
maybe the wrong tooth, I think I fixed it, but it ran badly.
I haven't started it after that.
The car has done 227,000 KMs.
The Auto has always been excellent.
This car is an 2 Litre twin cam SX, but strangely doesn't have power windows or sunroof.
So this means nothing leaked or broke, it was reliable.
The headlights still pop up and down, the boot struts still work fine.
Rubber seals still good. Wipers work, switches work.
    The engine mounts were replaced.
The Dash has always been covered with a dash mat, so looks pretty good.
Blue interior, Arctic White and stock SX Wheels.
Water pump was replaced because the car overheated, turned out to be the radiator fan,
so Fan and motor was upgraded and the original water pump is somewhere and still OK.
Aircon was upgraded and regassed, brake lines were replaced with new, power steering was replaced.
Sway bars were upgraded, radio was stolen, but I still have the original somewhere.

It is a complete car, but a broken car that needs an enthusiast to take her and sort her out.

Is anyone interested, she isn't registered and I don't want to part her out.
