Where do I get the vacuum source for my blow off valve also one more question in the back of my intake manifold there's two hoses one goes to the map sensor and to some other ting the other one goes to what. Think is the tvis acuator and then it tees off and I just have a open hose so my question is where does it go cause there's no egr or not one I can see.

    Guessing you have an alltrac....:p

On mine I T'd my BOV into the intake manifold after the throttle body.

there is a vacuum line on the back of the intake manifold..I will try and get a pic of mine for you tomorrow...it is the same line that the stock recirculating valve was hooked up too....honestly though I wouldn't waste your time with a BOV unless you are going with a standalone ECU...Mine KILLED my power.....even with it tightened down all the way....the air exiting after the MAF just made it bog down after shifts...Currently I'm running BOVless...I LOVE the sound of the air rushing out the turbo...even though some people say its bad for it:rolleyes:

that line is also the "proper" place to tee in your boost gauge from what i've been told.

    Couple things about that.

First off, if you have a MAF, using a BOV will cause you to run rich during shifts (as the air is already metered and fuel delivered). Second, big ass diesel truck don't have BOVs or stuff like that installed. Their turbos go for hundreds of thousands of miles as well. Plus they usually are running over 20lbs constantly.

    Another note...

I am MAP based. I have BOV. It's not needed, but it's fun to scare the piss out of passengers when I shift right next to them.

what EMS are you using to go MAP based? Or do you have a 3rd or 4th gen GTE?
