Hey I was wondering if anyone has or knows where to get an owner's manual AND a repair manual for my car. I need something to read during some classes in school so I mid as well read something that interests me. If anyone has an extra owners/repair manual for sale please let me know. Thanks. -Tanner
Checked there. Only manual I found was for a "celica supra". Thanks for the tip though. No one has one for sale?
Scroll to the bottom half of this Ebay link that reads "stores". Starting at $5.95, there's a whole bunch of 1986 Celica Owner's Manuals. BGB's are pricier: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/Parts ... Q2ec0Q2em1
Awesome, thanks for the link. Those factory repair manuals sure are expensive  . Are those HAYNES manuals that cover 86-99 celica's a good choice? Thanks.
haynes and chilton blowwww man.... trust me your better off winging it..... try to get a toyota bgb.. best thats out there man....
You can find BGB 's at good prices if you keep looking at Ebay constantly. I've purchased 3 BGB's at an average price of $10 each; it's the shipping that is a killer b/c these things are heavy, like phone books. They are the best though, hands down. A lot of guys knock the Haynes manual but I like them b/c I learned to a lot from them when I started and didn't have the $$$ (like I do now, LOL). They explained a lot of basic beginner things that I found the BGB will skip, maybe b/c they assume you're a trained tech. You can find a Haynes Manual for a low as $5 or cheaper at garage sales, that's where I got mine for $1  However, I wouldn't pay $20 like Canadian Tire charges; that's simply not worth it to me.
Oh okay sweet thanks. Yeah I will try to get a factory manual - have to keep looking because I'm not paying $70 +.
OMG! can you belive some guys are charging $30-$40 for an owners manual? These guys must be hitting the crack pipe hard cause if there is people that stupid to pay that kind of money for an owners manual I'd sure like to meet them, I have a stack of owners manuals from all the Celica's I have had and then some. Hell I even had a guy on MR2OC send me one for free and I didnt even know the guy he just found one in a car once and saw my handle in a thread and decided to send it to me as a nice gesture.
Inflated prices 4-sure, wait untill after the holidays when prices settle down a bit. I paid $20 for the 'vert BGB supplement. -K
