That interior was only available in the ST165 never in a ST162, you can also see by the handbrake housing.

My Corona ST162 seats looked like this -

More comfortable that the ST162 seats but not as good as the ST182 seats

These seats? I have the same 8-way adjustable in my ST162.

    Adjustable wing and lumbar too.

Or do you mean the leather?

I'm a little lost, and jumping in out of nowhere.

    It's not a corona though.

Yes, those blue seats are stock JDM Celica seats, they are also sometimes found in the Corona ST162.
The leather seats only came in the ST165 and no you can't swap them as the brackets are different

The 162 did have a leather seat option. I Found it out earlier this week.

The blue cloth are also available stock on USDM GT-S models, in addition to black and red.

    GT/ST got the standard seats.

No, your pics are not working
I did find a black GT-R with black leather seats in Birkenhead NZ, which we assumed someone had swapped the covers at the time, I was negotiating to buy it as it had a damaged motor but the guy was an idiot and I think it was scrapped.
The pics were on this thread but I think lost in the crash of 2009

I have good news and bad news -
The good news is I have completed my Light Vehicle Mechanics diploma here in sunny Surfers Paradise and start my Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics course next month

The bad news - I think TEMS is dead, last I heard the new owner had blown the motor and wasn't bothered to fix the motor or fit the Gen 2/3/4 hybrid motor and new box I gave him along with tons of spares worth over 30x what he paid for the car.

Aw shit man... that is bad news.

Also I didn't realize you were in NZ, I'm in the US. D'oh.

I also just got on with my local Toyota dealer, so yay there.

I'm still around to help out where possible, been a crazy time and not always possible to get internet/tv reception in the van.
I can still be reached thru my FB club - Celica Club NZ, or on FB - Kevin Harper.
Or just post on one of my threads and I should get a note

I now have a small workshop here in Mermaid Beach if anyone needs help, the site will always be special to me after you guys helped me out when I was homeless and jobless in NZ a few years ago.

It's hard to believe I joined here around 13yrs ago and all that's happened since then.

A sad day today, got a mail saying Photobucket no longer supports 3rd party hosting and came to take a look - damn
The site is dead unless another free app comes along and I for one can't change thousands of photos
