Hi my gauge isnt working, it stays at low all the time. Oil is fine just topped it up.
i have located the oil pressure sensor in the block , it looks fine, no leaks or anything - how do i test it to see if its the problem ?
and also does this engine have a sender unit too ?

the factory gauge is a POS. the senders go bad, the gauges go bad, and it doesn't read anything useful

    ^^Ditto

If you're looking at the engine from the front of the car the sending unit will be on the right side of the engine by the engine hook. It's circled in the picture.

Scrap it and get a good aftermarket gauge. I had one installed in my swap and also used the stock unit (this was off a gen4 3sgte BTW) and the stock gauge never read right.
