using sealant when installing intake manifold ?

Re-installing my st165 intake manifold today, I do have both intake manifold gaskets (before and after TVIS plate).
All mating surfaces have been cleaned and block sanded with 400 grit sandpaper.

Other than the gasket, there is no mention of additional sealant in the BGB manual, yet I wonder if it would be safer to use some.
Any meaningful experience regarding intake manifold sealing ?

I was thinking about adding Hylomar Blue, not sure this is a good idea.

    I wouldn't.

You can test it after installing by spraying some brake cleaner onto it when it's idling. If it intakes the cleaner fluid you will know :)

I did not use any sealant when reinstalling my intake, everything is running absolutely fine.

Yeah as above just a gasket. Use a dab of loctite on the tvis plate screws so that don't back out and get sucked in.
