    Thank you all, sirs....

@Jamezzy : yes, I agree, detailing is everything, and still so much to do... :p

@Spiderman : About the missing bolt in the heater shield (in fact, two are missing)..... the old ones are broken into. Luckily, the HS does not vibrate.
The black box between the PS and water containers is a volumetric alarm installed by a precedent owner. Not in function, but I do not want to touch it, scared to cause a severe breakdown.
8mm spark plugs wires brand is Ractive. Triple magnetic cores.

@Celicasteve : Yes, rear seats are done too. You can see them on the last picture, at least the upper part (trunk cover pic).

Would be with a great pleasure, but Netherlands is far away from my home (I'm in south-west of France).

    Thanks Kevin.
Yes, a parking alarm with a screen. Very useful ;)
I'll make a picture of it.

    Hello all,

Yes, this thread needs an update.
My red '87 has been sold some months ago, but I still own my white '87.
1987 is definitely my favorite year for the st162...

It's my daily car, but I really love it.
Except alloy wheels and a black painted roof, it's stock, I only swapped the steering wheel for one out of a MR and I'm on the process to install Supra MKIII front seats.

Recently, my front end got a new paint job on the bumper and a brand new three-parts front lip. Yes... brand new. It's still available at Toyota dealers here. :p

Thanks to Steve in UK, I'll soon get a new center exhaust pipe.

Good to hear from you Francois. It looks very unique with the black roof. I think both the Celica and Supra stock seats are very comfortable, many of my friends have said that everytime they sit in my cars.

Yes, Supra stock seats are very comfy and have the same size than the Celica seats.
But it's a hard work to adapt them to the Celica body as the sliding rails are totally incompatible.
It's needed to weld the celica rails under the Supra seats.

Still alive... and a little update.
On the left, my seats before and on the right, my seats now.
Blue velvet MKIII Supra seats in front and rear.
For the front seats, I have had to unweld the original Supra rails and weld the celica rails.
Otherwise, the mechanical commands and electrical connectors are the same. Plug 'n play.
For the rear, just have to slip the Supra upholstery on the Celica foam cushions.

@Steve : the Supra seats are a lot more comfortable than the "cheap" Celica ones. :p

The steering wheel is a blue leather MR one.

Since when the picture has been taken, the shift knob has been changed for an original Toyota.

    Francois, you're alive ;)

So good to hear from you :) The seats look fantastic and they do look like "expensive luxury seats".

Have you put that exhaust on ? I bought one and it's more noisy than the previous.

    Hello Steve

Still alive yes, but very busy. I'm renovating another Toyota dinosaur : a 1986 Land Cruiser LJ70. That takes a lot of time.

For my Celica, yes, the exhaust pipe is on for a long time now.
I cannot tell if it's more noisy than the previous one because my muffler isn't original. It's an italian ANSA muffler. Not loud (it's street legal), but the sound is slightly different from the original one.
    ANSA1.jpg
But now, as I also changed the front pipe, my exhaust line is brand-new from the header to the muffler.
    Thanks to you. ;)
