Hey whats up guys? It's been a minute since I've been on the forum and talked to anyone or gave any updates prior to my 89' Celica. I just don't want to show anyone what I've done yet. :)

Anyways, I've got a problem and I need anyone or everyone's help! My Celica fan would start up when the key was in the ignition and now it doesn't anymore... Celica also seems to be hotter than "normal" and I don't know what this could be that is making this happen. So before I make a trip in the next few days to an auto shop, is there a fixable solution that I can do MYSELF to fix my problem?

    THANKS! :D

If your fan came on with the key turned to ON, that means that the coolant temp sensor is either bad or unplugged as a safeguard. If you fan has been continually running all the time for an extended period of time, your fan could be dead. You should also check the fan relay to make sure it is operating properly as well as test the fan by pulling the harness plug and applying 12v to see if it spins.
