   I just bought a 88 celica gt convertible and bought a new light thinking something was wrong with it but it works fine tell i turn my (drivers side) high beams on and it just shuts the headlight completely off, I have played with the wiring a bit and it still dont work on high beams.

   You have 3 modes: Low, High and Flash.
   
   You say that the High don't work, but the Low work.
   How about the Flash, do they work?
