My passenger window switch, has a mind of its own sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, and I can't find a replacement!! Is there anyway of fixing it?? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for it?? Coz maybe I might have to adapt a st182 switch

take the door panel out, separate the switch from the panel, open up the innards, clean off metal contacts, put back together!

very fixable .. Sand the contacts .. Then add some dielectric grease to the contacts to help keep them clean.

I did what you guys told me, and it still didnt work, sanded and cleaned the terminals but nothing, the volt meter moves when I see if it works but the window doesn't go anywhere, I even try on the drivers side switch and still nothing, would it be the motor??

did you have both side switches connected during your test?...if so then if your measuring volts then it would be your motor, easy to replace with a junkyard or even an ebay one. and not very costly either.

Ok with the engine off .. And you push the switches .. If the voltmeter in the dash dips .. then it's the motor (or the mechanism is binding). If the voltmeter does not dip, you have a switch or wiring problem.
