Hey guys, sorry I haven't been very active lately I have some news. I've picked up a couple more 162s! The first (named "Celina" by the previous owner) has been serviced her whole life, has full log books, receipts, everything and only cost me $250! The second is a White Lightning with no engine that I picked up for the impressive sum of $150! I originally wanted it for the seats and interior, but it's in fairly good condition and has a sunroof, so it's becoming the project car I've already swapped all the struts with good shocks and lowered springs over from my blue 162 to Celina, as well as the tinted front corners and one of the tinted tail lights (haven't got around to swapping the other one lol). My plans for the White Lightning include a supercharged 3MZ/1MZ V6, and Celina is going to be my new daily once I've got her into roadworthy condition
That's funny, I wish I had less space in the form of a garage No bronze eyelids unfortunately, and both have the clear/blue parkers on the same side that I already have
sad day. But great plans for that White Lightning! Maybe the name will mean something more after the swap!
You certainly are going to be busy, great find on the one with full service history, a rare thing on our old Celicas.
It most certainly will I can't wait to start work on the White Lightning, it's going to be fun! I'm technically the second owner of Celina, one of my Celica enthusiast friends bought her for the interior and I was going to swap the engine into my blue Celica, but I ended up just buying the whole car sans interior
Hey man really nice finds, it looks like you have a lot of room for cars I'd like new decals too, but my white lightening only has the images not the words so not much good to copy from. Stig was and hpoefully is looking for measurements and closeups but I haven't done them due to their condition
