One of my plans for this year is to take off and disassemble the front left door, to renew the electric window mechanism and a couple more things. For this, I would need some help describing the steps, but the body section in the BGB topic is very incomplete. Does anyone have this part from it?

That gt4dc link is gold, how easy is this job kids. If possible, I'd replace those 2 pads that touch the glass and force some clean grease into those bearings. For that plastic, go to a furniture shop that sells beds and ask them for some of that thick plastic that protects the mattresses. Keep us up to speed with what you find in there.

Nice, with all this info we can't go wrong. The power windows/locks are included in these pics, in the fine print, but just removal and install so far. I'll look again tomorrow for locks, motor stuff. I remember Dave - ST165-2765 had a post about cleaning them up edit - Just saw the link on entrax's post, it must've gone in the site crash, that's a shame
