Hi there! I didn't really know what people want to see but I just took something from the sea of pics I have. Most of the pics are of wires/connectors/screws because I'm desperately trying to install power mirrors, power windows and power lock into my Celica! There seems to be a few differences between the electronics of the European 1989 Celica and my Texas-import 1988 Celica

This Coupe has a 3S-FE engine with a manual gearbox. It has Air Conditioning and an aftermarket Cruise system. And they both work ;) It was brought from Texas into Finland in the early 90's and I'm the third owner.

    A various selection of pictures:

A real beauty! The previous owner had the car painted 6 years ago. It was originally red. I think this colour stands out of the crowd a bit better :)

Fits like a glove! All I need to do is repaint! The old fenders had way too much rust on them!

What the car looks like now. A carcass of what it used to be :( At least there is some room to work in :) Also new mirrors!

A must-have for all Celicas! Works like a charm. Although the button could use a tad more grip because the bottom frame falls down a bit too easily. ;D

    More pics/info via request :)

Hmm.. I see a hyperlink with "Attachment 1505" in red text. If I click it, it shows the picture  Is there something I have to do? :D

E: I have to upload the pics again...

Very very very nice color! I wish they'd come like that stock! :/

OMG! I DIG your grille with the headlight washers!! I think that's extremely rare? I haven't seen that.. first time...

BTW were did you got the cupholder? i need one!

    Thank you very much! :)

The headlight washers were obligatory in Finland at some point so they had to be installed before registeration. In the spare car the washers are stock and I intend to install them in the near future ;)

The cupholder I got from the spare car I have, A 1989 Liftback. Too bad there's a very disturbing color difference -.- Does anyone have a clue what kind of vinyl paint should I use. Something that can withstand the usage and whatnot.. Or should I leave it as it is?

A 3S-FE lurking under the bonnet :) I'm just having problems with the throttle position sensor :/ And that heat insulation needs to be replaced! It's made from glass wool, and I've had that horrible stuff in my neck a few times while working under the bonnet :D
The alternator is brand new. It blings :)

My original seats look like this. Both in perfect condition. I like these so much better than the other ones.

These are the ones that have seat warmers and that's the only reason I'm going to put them in my car. I just checked and both warmers are good to go.

Welocome! You are the first person I've come across with the storied seat warmers. Can you post pics of the system including the switch, et cetera?

Absolutely! Here's a pic of the buttons. Too bad the text has worn away from the button :/ I'll take pics of the connectors later. There are three wires going into the seats. I have no idea what the warmer element itself looks like.

Thanks :) Unfortunately no the seats don't have that. I'd like that feature in my seats but at least my butt is warm :D

You have a blue and a black interior
The cupholder skin can be swapped, you will find the tops are breaking and need re-enforcing, you need to find a black ashtray

Yeah I'm going to have to find the skin. I already have a black ashtray but it's bottom tabs have broken so it doesn't sit as it should. So the tops will break when removing the skin? Or are they just fragile and break in normal use?

Which one would you guys prefer? The one on the center console with the separate off-button or the one on the dash with a timer? Just a little bored so I thought I'd ask for your opinion.. If I were to chose the center console button, I'd have to replace the dash button with another button with a different feature. IS the center console button stock?
