Welcome - where you based? Don't think anyones tried yet, not many AT's left My guess would be yes, from what I've seen the hubs are the same
I'm based in Christchurch There's a set sitting in my mate's garage. thot id ask before i find out if they fit. off subject, do you know where i could find seat rails for aftermaket seats in nz?
Bummer, I'd like to see it run against my car & some company on meets would be nice Looks like you upgraded from a 3S-FE? Get the GT-R strut brace for the coil mount bracket Seat rails are on T/Me, -nzkw- is one source
:iagree There's not much of a toyota scene down here or that i can find. yea spot on! afm 3s-fe. bottom end started to knock so ended up replacing the engine with a 3s-gte because i found out it bolted straight in. took one look at the engine at the engine shop and to my surprise it was the RC edition :drool5 thankfully the shop just thought it was a stock standard 3s-gte so got a real good price for it :lol2 also the tuner that mapped my ecu thought it had a ceramic turbo so he only tuned it to peak 12psi for obvious reasons. only to find out from forums including yourself that the RC engines have a steel turbo so now i can go back to the tuner and say give me more boost! Thanks for the tips your a real life saver!!! one last thing would the nzkw rails for an st185 be able to fit?
I would'nt touch the boost without lowering the compression and upping the injectors 1st Good to see someone has some sanity regarding keeping the GTE reliable ST165/185 rails are different, ST182 rails are also different. You might end up having to mod the stockers like I did
Nice!!! I noticed in your sig that you have "adjustable suspension" for you car. May I ask where you got it from, and (if it wasn't made for the 4th gen ) how you got them to fit? Thanks!
i would personally check that turbo before assuming it's steel. some jdm versions do have a ceramic turbine. it's the intake side you need to check and it's stupid simple to do. edit: what injectors are you running? and still on the afm?
i got the suspension from here its for fwd st182 http://www.redlineperformance.co.nz/?action=products&part=25814 the fronts fit perfect but i had to slot out the top hole in the rear where it joins to the hub (maybe because i have drum brakes might be different with discs)
All jdm versions are ceramic apart from the RC/Group A or so ive read. would the intake and ex turbine be ceramic? how would i know the difference between ceramic and steel? in running stock 440cc injectors until i find a good price for the bolt in 800cc sard injectors. afm has been completely removed and after market ecu has been installed
TEMS was disabled and now running KYB suspension, hoping to buy up some spare shocks and get them repaired. Fernando no doubt will have to go the same way
